Introduction:

Lastolip tablet is a medication used to treat low Cholesterol levels and prevent cardiovascular disease.  This medication belongs to the class of medicines known as antilipidemic.

Ingredients

It contains Atorvastatin Calcium Trihydrate as an active ingredient.

How Does Lastolip Tablet Work?

Lastolip tablet works by inhibiting an enzyme known as HMG-CoA reductase. This enzyme is responsible for the production of cholesterol in the liver. By blocking hMG-CoA-reductase it reduces the production of cholesterol and especially reduces the synthesis of low-density lipoprotein (LDL), which is considered as “bad cholesterol.”

Uses Of Lastolip Tablet

Cholesterol Level:  It reduces the level of cholesterol in the body.

LDL cholesterol: It lowers the level of (LDL cholesterol) also known as bad cholesterol and increases the level of good cholesterol known as (HDL).

 Cardiovascular Problems: It is used for the prevention of Cardiovascular problems(Heart attack and heart stroke).

Dosage can be different from person to person as it comes with different strengths. So use it according to the doctor’s prescription.

Overdose
