How Does Zyloric Tablet Work?
Mechanism:
Zyloric tablet slow down the activity of the xanthine oxidase. Xanthine oxidase is an enzyme that is responsible for converting purines (found in many foods and drinks) into uric acid. By blocking the activity of this enzyme, this medication reduces the production of uric acid, helping to lower its levels in the bloodstream. This, in turn, reduces the risk of gout attacks and other complications caused by excess uric acid.
Uses Of Zyloric Tablet
This medication is used for many health conditions such as
- Gout: It is a condition in which an individual is suffering from painful swelling and inflammation in joints.
- Kidney Stones: It helps in preventing certain types of Kidney stones formed due to high level of Uric acid.
