General Overview:

Zyrtec tablet is used for patients suffering from allergic reactions such as itching, sneezing, watery eyes, dermatitis, and many more. It is a second-generation antihistamine medication which is a derivative of Piperazine. This medication belongs to the category of drugs known as selective peripheral H1 receptor antagonists. It also has many side effects and precautions should be taken before taking this tablet. Keep in mind this medication is not preferred for serious allergic reactions such as anaphylaxis.

How to use Zyrtec tablet?

It can be taken with or without food. Take the non-chewable tablet with a glass of water. chew the chewable tablet before swallowing it.

How does it work?

It contains Cetirizine hydrochloride, which is an antihistamine. It reduces the impact of histamines produced by cells in the body known as mast cells. These chemicals are responsible for allergic symptoms.

  • Itching in eyes

  • Store between 20 degrees Celsius to 25 degrees Celsius
